The department of Hindi in Government Mata Karma Girls’ College was established in 2005 with the establishment of the college. Graduation level classes (B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com) are being conducted in Hindi department. The main aim of this department is to develop language skills. Dr. Saraswati Verma is permanent teaching staff since 2012, who has been appointed through CG PSC. She has done her Ph. D. from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur,C.G.
